mdebonnaire Recently discovered this band and I ADORE them. Such a fun mix of folk with what sounds like occasional Balkan beats, pop and rock. Clever, fun music that bears listening to again and again Favorite track: Circle Song.

Fritz Marial I bought Preternatural direct from the band when it came out (and just rebought via BC so I have them both accessible in the same place) and loved it. I was surprised when searching out their earlier music and I think Bear's Revenge hearkens back to that era. It's gorgeous and the musical skills of the band are in full display. Highly recommended.

One of my favourite albums of the past couple of years. A truly original sound I can't really pigeonhole with other bands. Brilliant musicianship from all, soaring vocals - I think I once heard it described as 'an intoxicating mix'. Short tracks but they pack so much variation into a couple of minutes - lyrical to grunge choppy chords in a few seconds. Brilliant. Chris Shaw
